My Apologies

Hey friends,

I wanted to take a moment to say I’m sorry for the lack of Theragraphic outings lately.

Between weeks of rain, the joy of celebrating my daughter’s wedding, and having to cancel this month’s walk because of the poor air quality, it feels like we’ve been dealt one obstacle after another. I’ll admit, I’ve been feeling like I’ve been letting you all down.

But as I thought about it, I realized something that fits perfectly with what the Theragraphic Project is all about.

Nature doesn’t always cooperate with our plans. Sometimes the skies are grey. Sometimes the air isn’t safe. Sometimes life asks us to be somewhere else for the people we love. Healing isn’t about forcing the moment, it’s about learning to accept what today brings and trusting that tomorrow offers another opportunity.

Photography has taught me that some of the most beautiful moments come after the storm. The light changes. The air feels fresh again. Birds return. The world has a way of reminding us that difficult seasons don’t last forever.

That’s the heart of the Theragraphic Project. It’s not just about getting together with cameras. It’s about slowing down, being present, and remembering that healing isn’t measured by how many outings we have. It happens in quiet moments, in hopeful moments, and sometimes simply in knowing there’s a community waiting to walk beside you when the time is right.

So, let’s keep our fingers crossed for August. I’m hopeful we’ll be back out together, cameras in hand, breathing fresh air, sharing stories, OR comfortable silence, and finding those little moments of beauty that have a way of healing us, one frame at a time.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for believing in what we’re building together. It truly means more than you know.

See you soon.

Don’t ever take the blame for the weather. 😉 Like you said, we just aim for August. During the weekdays, I’ve been going on day trips to conservation areas about an hour-ish away from this area. Thoroughly enjoyed Cheltemham Badlands, Belfountain Conservation and Tiffany Falls so far.
