Monthly Photography Adventures

Are you looking for a way to combine photography with mindfulness and relaxation? Starting next month, I’ll be organizing monthly photo walks where we’ll use photography as a form of therapy to slow down, connect with our surroundings, and express ourselves creatively.

Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just getting started, cell phone or $5000 camera all are welcome!

If you’re interested in joining, send me an email at: Contactmitchell@hotmail.com

Let’s explore the world around us, one mindful click at a time.

Unexposed Negative

Creative

The entirety of our world is an unexposed negative. We as creatives need to bring it to life. We need to fine tune our eyes to the textures shapes and colours that surround us. We need to slow down and examine ourselves and what it is that makes us.

See like an artist, explore the light and discover your inner being. Bring joy to those that look at the world through your eyes. Reflect on meaning, on purpose and on your desires.

Saviors

Nature and these feathered friends are the reasons I am still here to write this.

During a critically low period in my journey with a mental disability, the past few months my camera and these subjects became my refuge. They offered an escape from the relentless monster that refused to loosen its grip.

Birds exemplify true freedom—effortless, untethered, and soaring beyond the weight of the world below. When I’m in nature, watching and photographing them, time ceases to exist. The hours slip away unnoticed, and for a while, so does the heaviness I carry. In those moments, I too, am alive, I too am a Freebird.
