Well here we are folks. The LAST DAY of Movember and I’m $225 short of Platinum Status. Can I get your support to push me over $1000. Every little bit helps and I’d appreciate your support for this important cause. My funds are bookmarked for mental health research. Click the link to donate, it’s even tax charitable!!!
Good morning @everyone no pretty picture this morning, instead a call for help It’s that time of year when thousands of guys grow a ’stache to raise money and awareness for men’s cancer and men’s mental health. I’m one of those guys.
This year, every dollar donated through my Movember portal goes directly toward men’s mental health… something that hits very close to home for me living with a mental illness.
Here are a few Canadian facts worth knowing:
1 in 10 Canadian men will experience major depression in their lifetime.
4 out of 5 suicides in Canada are men.
Men are often less likely to seek help or talk about what they’re going through and that silence can be dangerous.
Last year, thanks to all of you, I reached Platinum status. This year, I’m only $225 short for Platinum status. With just days left in the month any support would be appreciated.
Every donation helps — big or small. Truly, every donation helps.
Thank you for supporting a cause that matters deeply to me.
I’m extremely excited to announce Think Tank Photo is now onboard with my Theragraphic Project. I’m honoured that a company of this size sees value in the work I do promoting photography as a form of mental healing.
“Think Tank is honoured to support Mitchell’s project. Photography itself can promote healing, but a leader who recognises the potential and gives of themselves to help others take the same journey is invaluable. Slowing time, sharing experiences and perspectives in a caring community will allow many individuals to grow and heal.”
Thank you Think Tank.

We’re thrilled to celebrate one of our Theragraphic Project participants, Leigh, whose photo was recently published in the newspaper!
Well done, Leigh. Your achievement is a reminder of what this project is all about, creativity, connection, and personal growth through photography.
Here’s what Leigh had to say about her experience:
“This project encourages me to take time out for myself, to engage with others, and most of all find continued peace through photography.”
Her words perfectly capture the heart of The Theragraphic Project. Photography isn’t just about creating images it’s about seeing differently, slowing down, and being fully present. When we pick up the camera with mindfulness, we’re giving ourselves permission to breathe, reflect, and express what words often can’t.
Numerous studies have shown that photography can improve mental well-being by:
Encouraging mindfulness and focus, helping quiet racing thoughts. Providing a creative outlet for self-expression and emotional release. Strengthening connection both with others and the world around us. Offering a sense of accomplishment and purpose, especially when we see our work appreciated, just like Leigh has.
Every photo taken is a moment reclaimed, a step toward balance and healing. Leigh’s success reminds us that creativity and courage walk hand in hand, and that sharing our vision can inspire others to find their own peace through the lens.
Congratulations again, Leigh. We’re so proud to have you as part of The Theragraphic Project.
