The first outing for The Theragraphic Project is in the books.
The participants and I had a great time exploring nature with our cameras today.
I’ll be honest—my anxiety was running pretty high leading up to this morning. That nagging voice telling me it wouldn’t go well was loud. But it turns out, it went better than I could’ve hoped.
We shared stories, had meaningful conversations, and even sparked some new friendships.
Nature and photography truly are powerful tools. It’s my hope that the time we spent together offered even a little bit of relief—and maybe, just maybe, a sense of hope for what’s ahead.
Good morning folks. Being able to photograph these Bald Eagles yesterday was definitely a highlight of the week. There’s something so powerful and majestic about seeing them up close, especially through the lens.
A couple of cool facts: Bald Eagles can spot their prey from over a mile away, thanks to eyesight that’s about four to five times sharper than ours. And while they may look heavy, their bones are hollow—making them surprisingly light for their size.
I’m excited to announce the first official outing of the Theragraphic Project—a mindful photography experience designed to support mental wellbeing through creative expression.
Whether you bring a camera or simply your phone, this is your time to slow down, connect with nature, and explore the healing power of photography in a safe, supportive space.
What to Bring:
• Your phone or camera (whatever you’re most comfortable using)
• Comfortable shoes
• An open heart
I truly hope this outing offers you a sense of peace, presence, and mindfulness. It’s not about capturing the perfect shot—it’s about reconnecting with yourself, your surroundings, and others who understand.
The weather is looking like 5 degrees and cloudy
Looking forward to sharing this experience with you.
